Windows 7 （一般简称为 “Win7”） 是微软在 2009 年发布的基于 Windows NT 6.1 内核的 Windows 客户端及工作站操作系统。 作为 Windows Vista 客户端及工作站操作系统的继任者， Windows 7 吸取了 Windows Vista 在市场上表现不佳的教训并加以改善， 在全球范围内赢得了广泛好评， 成功成为继 Windows XP 客户端及工作站操作系统后的又一大神作， 就连后续的 Windows 10 客户端及工作站操作系统也用了数年才在市场份额上超越它。

2026 年 1 月 13 日， 适用于 Windows Server 2008R2 的高级保障支持终止。 Windows NT 6.1 内核是迄今为止开发和维护时间第三长的内核， 其时间长度历经 18 年 10 月。

产品包装

Windows 7采用深海为主题的设计理念，其各SKU零售版包装盒与Windows Vista的配色保持一致，但最大的区别是外包装由Windows Vista的透明硬壳改为了铜版纸包裹磨砂薄塑料壳以节约成本。

界面变化

Windows 7继承了Windows Vista的外观界面，但有所简化：

• 去除了全屏 Aero 熄灯。
• Aero 默认颜色有所改变。
• 删除了部分动画效果和界面展示以节约资源。
