Windows Server 2012 是微软在 2012 年发布的基于 Windows NT 6.2 内核的 Windows 服务器及高性能计算操作系统， 是 Windows Server 2008 R2 服务器及数据中心计算操作系统的继任者。

作为对应 Windows 8 客户端及工作站操作系统的服务器版本， 既是首个不支持 IA-64 体系架构的 Windows 服务器及高性能计算操作系统， 也是首个不支持缺少 PAE、 SSE2 和 NX-bit 指令集的 x86 体系架构的中央处理器的 Windows 服务器及高性能计算操作系统。
