Windows Embedded for Point of Service （一般简称为 “WEPOS”） 是微软在 2005 年发布的基于 Windows NT 5.1 内核的 Windows 嵌入式操作系统， 可以看作是专为 POS 机这类嵌入式专业设备以及销售服务点终端而设计的 Windows XP Embedded 嵌入式操作系统， 后续则被同样采用 Windows NT 5.1 内核的 Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 嵌入式操作系统所继任。

初始版本自带 Service Pack 2 更新， 但是有 Service Pack 3 更新可用。

不同于过去在基于 Windows NT 5.1 和 Windows NT 5.2 内核的 Windows 桌面操作系统中常见的 i386 安装方式， 转而采用了 WIM 安装方式， 这在基于 Windows NT 5.1 和 Windows NT 5.2 内核的 Windows 桌面操作系统中尚属首次； 这一新颖的安装方式不仅出现在 Windows Vista 客户端及工作站操作系统及更高版本的 Windows 桌面操作系统中， 甚至也影响了后续一众基于 Windows NT 5.1 和 Windows NT 5.2 内核的 Windows 桌面操作系统。
